Electro Mechanical Production Engineer – Permanent Position Location: Oldham, Greater ManchesterSalary: £40,000 to £46,000 (Based on Experience) About the Role: Are you an experienced Electro Mechanical Production Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity to grow within a global, market‑leading company? Service Care Solutions is pleased to present an excellent vacancy for an Electro Mechanical Production Engineer to join a forward‑thinking organisation based in Oldham, Greater Manchester. This role offers the chance to work on both electrical and mechanical design improvements within a dynamic environment, supporting the company’s mission to deliver innovative solutions worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Design/Development teams to identify and implement process and product improvements Coordinate with R&D and production teams to facilitate seamless product transitions Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime and maintain high product quality Create specifications and concepts for production equipment and liaise with equipment manufacturers Develop assembly control plans, work instructions, SOPs, and other technical documentation Identify automation opportunities to enhance manufacturing efficiency Manage End of Line Test data for existing and new products, analysing trends for preventative actions Support the integration of new technologies into manufacturing processes Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards Candidate Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, HND via apprenticeship, or relevant experience in electro‑mechanical manufacturing Experience with high‑volume manufacture of electro‑mechanical assemblies Knowledge of problem‑solving techniques such as 5Why, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis Proficiency with PLM and CAD software (preferably Siemens NX/Team Centre) Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Kaizen and lean manufacturing Knowledge of sensor electronics, physics, and automation in assembly processes Analytical, collaborative, creative, and practical approach to problem‑solving Benefits: Competitive salary with flexible working hours 32 days annual holiday (including public holidays), with opportunity for an additional 13 days Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption leave and pay Pension scheme and healthcare insurance (including dental) Wellbeing support and Life Insurance Income Protection Insurance Educational sponsorship and Electric Car Scheme Free secure parking, onsite electric vehicle charging points, and Cycle to Work Scheme Informal dress code, paid breaks, and complimentary hot drinks How to Apply: If you are driven by engineering excellence and want to join an award-winning team working on cutting‑edge technologies, we want to hear from you.
