Position Summary Retail Assistant – Part TimePermanent part‑time role, 12 hours across 3 days per week (including weekends) at a shop in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.Contract type: PTRA, Position: 12 hours, Days: 3. Responsibilities Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello. Help customers find the items they are looking for. Provide fast, friendly service at the tills, offering to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye. Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy. Work with the rest of the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy. Requirements A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work. Enjoy being busy – ability to jump from deliveries to the till, offer customer assistance on the shop floor, and complete cleaning and stock rotation tasks. Reliable – an important part of a small team that customers and colleagues depend on to perform their best on each shift. Some flexibility with shifts – willingness to work slightly different hours to cover for the team; rotas planned three weeks in advance and external commitments are taken into consideration.
