We’re looking for a dual-skilled Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to maintain, fault-find, and repair rolling stock and depot systems — ensuring services run smoothly every day. The role may involve shift work, and attending incidents out of hours may be required to support urgent fault recovery. What You’ll Be Doing Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical & electrical systems on rolling stock. Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs. Support incident response and recovery when needed. Work closely with depot and operations teams. Ensure all work meets strict rail safety and quality standards. What You’ll Bring Dual qualification or proven experience in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering. Rail depot or rolling stock maintenance experience (or similar heavy engineering). Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work shifts, with attending incidents out of hours when required. A proactive, safety-focused attitude and pride in quality workmanship.
