Cargo Superintendent

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Cargo Superintendent to join our team in Immingham. Your main focus will be to oversee the discharge (or loading) of cargoes, monitoring/auditing client storage locations and working as part of the Drax contract team to undertake cargo sampling (both mechanical and manual) and sample preparation duties. Required skills and experience Excellent communication and IT skills Highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly inform others Excellent administrative skills with experience of writing reports Strong relationship building skills internally and externally Highly motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities Experience of working in shipping/ports, Valid Clean UK Driving Licence Alfred H Knight is a totally independent, family owned business spanning five generations.
