Our new SalariedGP will be an excellent clinician and innovative thinker. They will be kind andcompassionate, a great team player, and committed to a high standard of care. Ideally,they will be a trainer or have an interest in becoming a trainer and have aninterest in Primary Care Research.Main duties of the jobIn general, the post holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working with primary care, as set by Royal College of General Practitioners, General Medical Council, all other Royal Colleges and Councils applicable to the staff within the Practice, Department of Health, ICB, CQC, and all other regulatory and standard setting organisations.About usWe are a friendly, welcoming and supportive team comprisingof:2 prescribing Clinical Pharmacists with PharmacyTech support for medicines management.A team of experienced practice nurses withtreatment room and chronic disease experience, including a CardiologySpecialist NurseWe model a Triage Hub where the duty doctor issupported by paramedics who do much of the front-line triageHealth coach and Social Prescriber supportingour most complex patientsAn in-house counselling serviceGP Registrars supported by 3 Tier 3 GP trainersFurther key information:A robust appointment system with the ability tofollow up allowing greater continuity15 minute appointments, mixture of F2F andtelephoneVery low visiting ratesNo out of hours requirementsSystm1 practiceScheduled coffee break dailyDispensing PracticeActive Research Unit and on-site PharmacyJob responsibilitiesProvide a full range of medical services as defined in the core GMS contract, additional and enhanced services where appropriate.Provide other personal medical services to meet identified patients need.Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare professionals within the organisation.Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice; disease management protocols, provide counselling and health education.Work within current ICB policy for prescribing.Person SpecificationQualificationsRegistration and Certification:Be included in NHS England list of medical practitioners as per section 91 of the NHS Act 2006.Hold full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the General Practitioner Register.ExperienceEager to learn and grow in healthcare environment.Strong clinical skills with an evidence-based approach to patient care.Proficient in using electronic health records and embracing new technologies.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Passionate about technology and improving healthcare outcomes.Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
