Examples of recent projects that we have been involved with include: Holyhead Port Expansion for Stena Line Ports, Portsmouth Harbour Aircraft Carrier Berth and Approach Channel for the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, Bacton Sandscaping Scheme for North Norfolk Council and Leith Outer Berth development for Forth Ports Limited.Due to an extensive and growing portfolio of marine development work, both within the UK and internationally, we are looking to expand our team and are seeking enthusiastic, optimistic, conscientious and talented people with excellent communication skills and proven technical ability to join our marine team.If you have a background in the consenting of coastal and marine infrastructure developments and operations, and want to make an immediate and meaningful difference to the development of the marine sector and the Haskoning team then please get in touch.Job Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic, conscientious and talented person with excellent communication skills and technical ability in relation to the consenting of coastal and marine infrastructure developments, including delivery of EIAs and HRAs. In this role, you will assist with the delivery of complex environmental assessment projects, including the coordination of multidisciplinary teams. Your role will involve directly working with clients, problem-solving and representing the company in client offices, regulator and stakeholder meetings.This role might be right for you if you have:Demonstrable experience in the delivery of EIAs and the marine consenting process, ideally for ports and harbours related projects and/or coastal managementDemonstrate good understanding of how marine development can progress successfully through the complex coastal and marine regulatory regime in relation to relevant international and domestic legislation and policyExperience working with a variety of stakeholdersRobust project management and financial management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication, organisational, analytical and time management skillsGood interpersonal skillsAnd if you are:Dependable, pro-active and self-motivatedFlexible and adaptive / innovativeWhat we can offer you:Exciting.
