Position Details Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire Start Date: ASAP / January 2026 Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Your Role Will Involve Delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Supporting children’s learning, emotional development, and independence through play-based experiences. Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive environment. Contributing to planning, observations, and assessments to track children’s progress. Ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and wellbeing at all times. Essential Requirements Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent). Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development. A caring, enthusiastic, and patient approach to supporting young children. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
