About The Role Your focus will be managing the peer review process of a set portfolio of journals in a wide variety of STM/HSS subject areas. Standard administrative tasks related to a list of journals, including building and maintaining key stakeholder relations and collaboration. Researching and proposing innovative development and efficiencies. Working collaboratively and effectively with the PRA Team through best-practice sharing and discussion contribution. Expert point of contact: being the central point-of-contact for any queries related to any stage of manuscript processing from pre- to post- peer review. About You This role is ideal for a superbly structured and well‑organised individual with a passion for data management, accuracy, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will seek to build on an existing understanding of academic journal publishing and progress their career. Working pro‑actively and autonomously, ensuring smooth peer review processing whilst continuing to provide efficiencies accordingly. Essential Knowledge Knowledge of submission platforms (preferably ScholarOne Manuscripts and Editorial Manager); talented in use of systems and software; extensive knowledge of publishing workflows and processes including peer review. Proven skills in delivering training. IT skills with proficiency in Office 365. Essential Skills & Experience Strong written and verbal communication skills, with effective and professional communication. Strong organisation and time management skills.
