Job Summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Bank Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Stocken, a Category C Prison located in Oakham. The Pharmacy is not a dispensary; there are six dispenser hatches within medication/administration points. The team includes a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, and a Dispenser. Bank Hours Weekdays - 7.30am - 5.30pmWeekends - 8.30am - 5.30pm Bank Hourly Rate Weekdays £21.76Weekends £23.61Bank Holidays £28.33 How We Support You Bespoke induction, including Introducing Health in Justice training courseCompetency frameworkRegional and national career development opportunitiesBespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needsSupport from the wider team Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK. Responsibilities Provide outstanding patient‑centred care, seeking out, listening to, and acting on patient feedback to personalise care.Ensure safe and secure medicines management, maintaining patient medical records to agreed standard and following SOPs.Deliver non‑judgemental care within the scope of professional standards, from timely administration of medicines to analysing cost‑effective prescribing.Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Qualifications NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent.Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD).Relevant post‑qualification pharmacy experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures. Experience Ideal: experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
