Key Responsibilities : Perform repairs on various plant machines and equipment safely and professionally. Develop and execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules. Utilise the online Maintenance Dashboard IMO for efficient work planning. Manufacture spare parts using lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment. Diagnose and repair equipment faults, ensuring timely return to operational service. Assist with the installation and repositioning of machinery. Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of electrical services. Maintain detailed records and logs of maintenance activities. Uphold high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices. Essential Skills and Experience : Time‑served engineer in machine tool fitting or equivalent qualification. Formal IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 qualification or equivalent. Valid UK drivers licence. Previous experience in a similar role within a comparable environment. Strong understanding of installation processes and current electrical legislation. Familiarity with planned and preventive maintenance. Proficiency in reading engineering / electrical drawings and using testing equipment. Methodical approach to systems and adherence to established work standards. Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety.
