Job Title: Water Hygiene EngineerLocation: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.Salary / Benefits £21k – £34k + Regional Work We are currently recruiting for a self motivated water hygiene engineer with demonstrable experience working within the legionella compliance industry. Our client is a leading name within the water treatment industry, with contracts in and around the Cambridgeshire area. The role would suit someone who is looking to cut down on travel as the client can offer regional work. Consideration will be to those based in and around; Cambridge, Peterborough, Bedford, Bishop Stortford, Stevenage, St Albans, Herford, Harlow, Chelmsford, Braintree, Colchester, Ipswich, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Norwich, Kings Lynn. Experience Experience carrying out a range of water hygiene duties to a varied client base. Practical knowledge of legionella guidelines e.g. ACoP L8 Good time management skills. Full UK driving license. IT literate. Responsibilities Delivering legionella sampling and temperature regimes in accordance with ACoP L8 guidelines. Servicing of Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs). Cold and hot water storage tank inspections. Tank cleans and chlorination works. Showerhead descales. Flushing of used outlets. Liaising with clients to arrange PPM works. Updating logbooks and completing reports of tablet-based systems.
