Overview An exciting opportunity for District Nurses or Senior Community Nurse with 2 years experience working in the community to join our Integrated Teams in Redbridge. Responsibilities Be a Registered Nurse (RN12-NMC) responsible for patients allocated to you and assess, manage, plan and deliver care, with professional and legal accountability. Lead and manage a Community Nursing Team, geographically aligned to GP practices. Provide leadership to the community nursing team and work within and across professional and organisational boundaries. Liaise with GPs, other professionals and statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver individualised care to patients and their families in the community. Supervise pre-registration students and support peers and team leaders as an effective team member, while working on your own initiative. Qualifications and Requirements Registered Nurse (NMC) with RN12/NMC registration. Experience in community nursing; minimum 2 years in the community. Commitment to collaborative working with other health and social professionals and agencies. Induction and Probation New starters will join on the first Monday of each month and undergo a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory and systems training, equipment allocation and opportunities to meet the executive team and senior managers. Induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. This post is subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period unless currently part way through a probationary period or a bank member of staff.
