Pharmacist (Outpatients) – Bupa Department: Pharmacy Location: Cromwell Hospital, 164-178 Cromwell Road, London SW5 Job Type: Permanent Hours: 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am‑8pm, Saturdays 8:30am‑2:30pm Salary: Competitive Key Responsibilities Provide a comprehensive, patient‑focused and responsive Outpatient Pharmacy service ensuring patients receive medication in a timely, professional and efficient manner. Work as a Responsible Pharmacist: dispense medicines legally, efficiently and accurately; carry out appropriate clinical and other checks. Ensure patients receive appropriate counselling and information about their medicines. Communicate with all levels of clinical and healthcare staff to promote the safe use of medicines. Abide by General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) standards, professional, ethical and legal obligations. Maintain a professional image of the department; ensure practice complies with Medicines, Ethics and Practice guidelines. Provide professional leadership in the pharmacy, ensuring all practice stays within latest regulations. Resolve individual patient issues as they arise. Key Skills & Qualifications Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Experience leading teams and managing a pharmacy as a Responsible Pharmacist. Flexibility to work variable shifts between 08:30‑20:00, weekends and evenings. Excellent team working and communication skills. Clinical and hospital experience desirable.
