Neighbourhood Service Advisor Apprentice An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Neighbourhood Services Team, initially based at the Civic Centre in Gateshead with an element of home working. As a Neighbourhood Service Advisor Apprentice, you will play a key role as the first point of contact in responding to enquiries from employees, customers and partner agencies relatingto housing and council services. You will deliver a customer focused service and provide administrative support as part of the Neighbourhood Services team, working to support tenants to sustain both tenancies and neighbourhoods. You will have 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade C/4 or above (including Maths and English) or relevant experience. The role will involve working with ICT therefore computer skills are essential as well as good organisational skills and you should be committed to delivering customer service to a high standard. As an apprentice you will work towards gaining your Level2 Housing and Property Management Assistant Apprenticeship qualification. Ideally you will have experience of working in a customer service environment; dealing with members of the public in person and over the phone; interviewing and communicating effectively. You should consider the essential requirements and competencies relating to this post when applying and ensure you evidence that you meet the essential criteria within your application. You will not progress to interview stage unless you meet the essential criteria.
