Due to room constraints the days of this post is none negotiable.Hours:Thursday 8am - 6pmFriday 8am - 6pmMain duties of the jobWe are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse who will fulfil core responsibilities of the role which will include: Long Term Condition management, wound care management, Cytology, Child Immunisations, Vaccinations Contraception, Swabs, specimens, bloods, blood pressures, infection control, keeping accurate and detailed health records on SystmOne clinical system. A key role in QOF/PEP achievement, Involvement in the MDT of the Surgery. This role may support the wider team with: Clinical audits, Safeguarding concerns, Support and participate in shared learning over the Practice Support for GPs in patient care. Ability to review clinical practices and respond to national policies and initiatives where necessary. Participate in local initiatives in order to enhance local patient care where necessary.About usParkway Medical Group is a friendly, well-established, enthusiastic practice with around 8,350 patients. We have 3 GP partners, 5 salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses and 2 Health Care Assistants.
