Are you patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about supporting children in their education? We are looking for a dedicated Classroom Support Assistant to join our team in Knowle, Bristol. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment, helping students stay focused, motivated, and confident in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide support to students in the classroom, assisting with learning activities and ensuring they stay engaged.
  2. Offer one-to-one or small group support when needed, helping to reinforce lesson content.
  3. Encourage positive behaviour and support children in developing their confidence and independence.
  4. Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of learning materials, and general administrative tasks.
  5. Supervise students during break times and other school activities to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  6. Work closely with teachers and other staff to foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  7. Collaborate with support staff and teachers to ensure optimal learning outcomes for all pupils.
Who We're Looking For:
  1. Experience: Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
  2. Skills: Patient, adaptable, and confident in engaging with students of different abilities.
  3. Teamwork: Able to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff to support students' learning.
  4. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to encourage and motivate children.
  5. Location: Within a reasonable distance of Knowle or willing to relocate.
