The Role:
This hybrid position combines driving and warehouse responsibilities
Transport goods locally and nationally, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
Plan routes and schedules effectively.
Load/unload goods and secure loads properly.
Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching stock.
Maintain accurate inventory records and operate machinery safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive long and short distances, following traffic laws and adapting routes as needed.
Complete delivery paperwork and keep logbooks up to date.
Pick and load items to van.
Carry out basic vehicle checks (oil, tyres, brakes).
Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and uphold health & safety standards.
Operate forklifts and assist with stock checks and audits.
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
What you require:
Full, clean UK driving licence.
2–3 years’ experience as a delivery driver or similar.
Knowledge of highway code, safe practices, and health & safety.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Team player with flexibility and initiative
