Job Title Teaching Assistant – 1:1 (Term‑time) School & Location Sandlings Primary School, Sutton Heath, Woodbridge, IP123TD Contract & Salary Fixed‑term contract until August 2026 Salary: £23,657 pro‑rata Hours: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm (5.75 hrs/day, 5 days/week, term‑time only) Role Overview We are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil across all areas of the curriculum. You’ll join a caring and committed staff team where every day is different and every contribution matters. Responsibilities Deliver individual support to a pupil for the full curriculum. Work alongside teachers to facilitate learning and assessment. Help create an inclusive classroom environment. Assist with lesson preparation, resource organisation and classroom set‑up. Collaborate with the wider team to develop and review support plans. Qualifications & Experience Committed to helping children achieve their full potential. Calm, patient, nurturing, and flexible. Strong communication skills and a warm, approachable manner. Ability to work well within a team and build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
