Job Title: Storeperson – Uphall, Scotland Salary: £25500.00 - £27500.00 per annum Type: Full Time Contract Type: Permanent Working hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm Mon‑Thu, 8 am to 3:00 pm Fri Location: Uphall, West Lothian, Scotland Reference: 012582_1764849340 Responsibilities Regularly review, analyse and record costs of materials purchased or ordered. Maintain optimum stock levels as agreed with the Service Manager/ Supervisor in conjunction with Materials Resource Planning. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety practices and all applicable legislation to maintain a zero‑harm environment. Control receipt, dispatch and accounting of all materials, adhering to company operating procedures for ordering, issuing, booking out and overall stock accuracy. Prioritise reused fittings and materials without compromising quality. Provide and maintain an adequate supply of PPE and tools for the workforce, ensuring justified and controlled allocation. Complete a weekly stock count to audit current materials. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility. Assist operationally in the yard as required.
