Special Crime Business Development Executive

WTW is seeking a highly motivated Sales and Business Development Executive to join the Special Crime team of Special Contingency Risks (SCR), part of WTW's crisis management practice. With associates in London, Ipswich, New York, Nashville, Madrid, Stockholm and Singapore the Special Crime team manages Kidnap & Ransom (K&R), Maritime Piracy, Active Assailant and All Risks Evacuation insurances for a diverse, international portfolio of clients. Working in a global line of business with ever changing dynamics, this is an exciting opportunity to play an active role in our strategic growth initiatives and forge impactful partnerships. The Role:Actively contribute to the sales process by identifying key prospects, building new relationships and working existing established business relationships to win and develop profitable clientsExecute sales goals by maintaining a sizeable book of business and conducting frequent sales presentations, calls and meetings.Apply highly developed market and service offering insights to engage potential clients and generate interest through scheduled meetings and/or presentations.Provide support and input into existing sales strategies and key WTW and SCR differentiators.Support sales proposals, presentations and RFP responses which creatively and effectively address complex prospect needs.Contribute actively to product developmentBuild, develop and maintain close working relationships with Crisis Management Special Crime clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of service is provided and constantly looking to identify ways to add further value to our service propositionContinued professional development to increase knowledge of existing/new product-lines to cross-sell solutions to generate additional revenue.Are you a driven self-starter with a proven sales ability to develop new business opportunities? Do you want to be part of a team that has experienced year-on-year growth and is focussed on a strategy for further long-term success?, A proven track record in sales and converting new business opportunities. Experience in the insurance sector is highly regarded.Knowledge of Special Crime products is desirable, but not essential.Self-motivated and target driven with a proven ability to work closely as part of a team.Desire to learn and be involved in bespoke lines of business that may initially be unfamiliar.Ability to operate at every stage from conducting a positive initial prospect meeting to crafting and delivering a compelling and successful proposal and presentation.Excellent proven client relationship skillsExcellent communication (written & oral), negotiation and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail, organised and able to prioritise workload against competing demandsAble to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment where lateral thinking, initiative, self-motivation, problem solving, and decision-making skills are crucialAbility to analyse data and situations, providing challenge and recommendations to identify optimum solutions that bring value to clientsEqual Opportunity EmployerAt WTW, we believe difference makes us stronger.
