Job Overview Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, a vibrant partnership delivering substance use treatment and recovery services across Lincolnshire from April 2024, is seeking a Specialist Substance Use Nurse. Location & Essential Requirement Boston, UK. A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are essential requirements. About the Partnership Delivered in partnership between Turning Point, Framework and Double Impact, the partnership combines national experience in substance use provision with specialism in lived experience and recovery, and expertise in supporting service users with complex needs. The Recovery First model underpins everything at Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership, integrating lived experience recovery fully throughout to benefit Lincolnshire residents with a highly integrated and localised approach. Role Responsibilities Support opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxification and promote uptake of naloxone. Provide support to the nursing team with blood-borne virus screening and vaccinations. Work closely with mental health, physical health and social care services. Create a collaborative approach linking Turning Point with external professionals and agencies. Contribute to service improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance quality and user experience. Ideal Candidate Registered nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council. Empathy, understanding, patience and genuine interest in supporting people with diverse needs. Willingness to participate in extensive training, revalidation support, indemnity insurance and supervision from the nurse manager and clinical lead.
