You'll be a key player in delivering high-quality HR support across the site, managing a busy ER caseload, and leading a small HR team to deliver excellence in service, compliance, and engagement.This is a full-time, permanent position. You'll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 09:00 till 17:00. However, some flexibility will be required, this is logistics after allPay, benefits and more:We're looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). You'll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much moreWhat you'll do on a typical day:Lead and resolve complex ER cases with fairness and consistencyManage and develop a team of HR Admins and Coordinators (including payroll)Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and site culture initiativesSupport recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planningCoach managers on policy, performance, and capability issuesMaintain accurate HR records and deliver insightful people data reportsDrive continuous improvement in HR processes and systemsWhat you need to succeed at GXOStrong proven experience within a generalist HR roleStrong ER and payroll experience in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of UK employment lawExcellent communication, coaching, and organisational skillsExperience using HR systems and Time & Attendance platformsCIPD Level 5 qualified (or willing to work towards)We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
