Fixed term post – 12 months An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as an Endoscopy Administrator within the Endoscopy Booking Unit. This is a key administrative role supporting the smooth running of a busy department across two sites (Victoria Hospital and Queen Margaret Hospital). This post will be based at Victoria Hospital. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks linked to a patient’s journey through the Fife Endoscopy Units, including: Receiving referrals and managing waiting lists Booking appointments and coordinating clinics Providing reception and post-procedure administration Supporting services such as Bowel Screening, Suspect Cancer referrals, and Surveillance recall lists The department also provides administration and reception support for Victoria Hospital Day Surgery, Planned Intervention Day Unit (PIDU), and Surgical Elective Admission Lounge (SEAL). What We’re Looking For Essential: Previous clerical or administrative experience in a healthcare setting Experience using Patient Administration Systems (e.g., TrakCare) Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines Competent keyboard skills with high accuracy Desirable: Experience in Endoscopy or Outpatient services Knowledge of Endoscopy Management Systems (EMS) and Cancer Tracking System You should be educated to Standard Grade (or equivalent) and proficient in Microsoft Office. A flexible approach and ability to work across different sections is essential. Why Join Us?
