The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all premises and equipment are maintained, in good working order and it is paramount that they are compliant with regulatory requirements.Tasks:To meet with line manager at the start of each scheduled shift for handover of delegated duties.To check maintenance file and undertake any jobs/repairs that have been identified, which are in your remit.Cyclical decoration of home i.e., residents’ rooms, communal areas etc.To ensure all activities are carried out within a safe manner, ensuring residents, staff members and visitors are not put at risk of injury.To undertake interim Portable Appliance Testing for those residents who bring electrical equipment into the home. (In absence of the Maintenance Officer)To work closely with contractors who are undertaking work within the home. A risk assessment must also be devised to ensure the safety of residents, staff, and visitors.
