We’re looking for a Deployment Manager to lead the planning, execution, and oversight of WYA network deployments at live events and festivals. This is a hands-on, dynamic role - you’ll manage everything from pre-event planning to on-site setup, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure flawless delivery.
What You’ll Do
* Plan and coordinate deployments: maps, inventory, risk assessments, logistics, and client engagement.
* Lead on-site operations: hardware installation, network optimisation, takedown, and real-time problem solving.
* Provide feedback to product and engineering teams for continuous improvement.
* Develop deployment documentation and tools for future scalability.
Who You Are
* A proactive, hands-on problem solver with excellent organisation, interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead small teams.
* Experienced in network hardware, radio systems, IoT, BLE, or similar wireless tech.
* Background in technical or engineering disciplines OR practical experience in live events/operations.
* Ex-forces communications or technical roles are highly desirable.
* Comfortable with physical tasks outdoors, including lifting and using stepladders.
