Job Title Cleaner Rate of Pay £22.80 per hour Contract Permanent, Part Time Weekly Contractual Hours 8 Location Cleveland Police, Church Street, Wynyard, Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, England, TS22 5TH Role Overview Note: We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team. This position entails 8 hours per week: 4 hours on Saturday at a rate of £19.20 per hour and 4 hours on Sunday at £25.20 per hour. Working hours are flexible, with preference for morning shifts from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The anticipated start date is 1st February 2026, subject to security vetting clearance. In your new role as a Cleaner you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations. Qualifications Ability to communicate and read basic English. Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential. Flexible approach to the role. Open, honest, self-driven and determined.
