Location: Working from the Office – Maidenhead / Central London Job Type: Permanent Start Date: Immediate Immigration Status: British Citizen / ILR / Dependents / Sponsorship Available (candidates have to be within the UK) Requirements Hands‑on Java API Microservices Architect/Lead with a minimum of 10 yrs of experience (design & delivery). Proficient in Java (versions 17 and above), Spring boot Microservices and Kubernetes. Strong understanding of micro‑service design pattern, API‑led and Event‑driven Architectures. Knowledge of OpenAPI‑first, versioning, security (OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS), rate limiting, and governance. Cloud proficiency. Preferably AWS. Led a team of Java developers and been responsible for setting coding standards, conducting code reviews, and enforcing quality governance.
