We are recruiting a Specialist Mental Health Practitioner (nurse) to work part‑time within the Bournemouth North Primary Care Network. Role Overview The successful candidate will be an experienced RMN Mental Health Practitioner with experience in a Primary Care and/or Community Mental Health Team setting. An ideal candidate will hold a non‑medical prescriber qualification or be working towards one. Responsibilities Deliver targeted mental health care in a primary care setting to individuals identified as needing support. Collaborate with Primary Care, Secondary Mental Health Services, and the wider Access Wellbeing offer as part of an Integrated Model of Care. Facilitate onward access to secondary care‑based services, third‑sector services, and link with existing support services via the Primary Care Network. Support the PCN clinical strategy and help rebuild and reconnect healthcare teams across local communities. Qualifications & Requirements RMN Mental Health Practitioner credential with primary care or community mental health team experience. Non‑medical prescriber qualification or demonstrated commitment to working towards it. Legal working status in the UK; candidates requiring current skilled worker sponsorship are not eligible. Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check – covered by the Trust. Applicants on the DBS update service may present a current DBS certificate.
