We are recruiting a Shift Technician to join the team located in Maidenhead.Role SummaryCarry out routine planned preventative maintenance tasks as required within across HV and LV distribution systems, associated plant / equipment and HVAC mechanical cooling / heating systems as determined by the CMMS system’s work ordersMonitor BMS for running and alarm conditionsAttend to A/C related clients’ problemsBuilding walk-rounds, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU’s and utilitiesInvestigate faults, identify causes and effect remediesPrepare accurate / timely reports as requiredEnsure corrective / repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulationsAssist when and where required with installation worksParticipate in emergency call out roster providing cover for weekend and team member absences, as requiredDevelop a comprehensive understanding of the portfolio buildings their layouts, functions and complexitiesEstablish and develop trusting, meaningful relationships with Facilities Managers, Client staff and representativesEndorse day to day and future compliance to safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methodsVolunteer ideas / initiatives that contribute to the service levels and delivery Undertake other tasks, as required by Customer Services Supervisor / Contract Manager, in accordance with experience and competencies12 hour rotating shiftExperience RequiredEssentialCity & Guilds Electrical Competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalentGood building services knowledgeCritical Environment ExperienceGood Customer relationship skillsWorking knowledge of “Permit to work” systemsUnderstand and interpret technical drawings / processesExperience of CMMS and BMS systems17th Edition IEE RegulationsDesirableTime served electrical apprenticeshipExperience of working in banking environmentHV switching qualification/experienceExperience of Microsoft Office applicationsACoPs L8 #J-18808-Ljbffr
