Social Media Videographer and Video Editor

We are seeking a passionate Social Media Videographer and Editor to join the team at OLBG. As the Social Media Videographer and Editor, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the online reach and influence of the OLBG brand across all major social media platforms.

You will capture content and use footage we have rights to and transform it into engaging short-form vertical videos that captivate our audience across all social platforms, as well as helping devise and execute longer-form video podcast content. From live event coverage to interviews to behind-the-scenes moments, you'll play a key role in driving our brand's presence online.

This role requires a social and video expert who lives and breathes short-form vertical video content and hooks, with a broad knowledge of sports, particularly football, darts, and horse racing. Flexibility for both weekend and evening work is required, along with a full clean driving licence and your own transport to get to shooting locations. The role is fully remote, but candidates must be based in the South East as this is where the majority of shoot locations will be.

Key Responsibilities:

• Videography: Capture high-quality video content at live events, video podcast records, training sessions, and interviews, ensuring dynamic storytelling that aligns with brand identity.
• Video Editing: Edit and produce engaging short-form vertical video content optimised for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and X, for both organic and paid advertising, as well as longer-form video podcast content.
• Content Planning: Ideate video concepts with a social-first mindset. Collaborate with the wider teams and sponsorship partners to develop creative concepts that align with campaign goals and audience engagement strategies.
• On-Site Coverage: Attend sports events, tournaments, and brand activations to capture standout moments in real time.
• Post-Production: Add motion graphics, text overlays, sound design, and other creative enhancements to elevate video content.
• Trend Spotting: Stay up to date with social media trends, viral content formats, and emerging video techniques to keep our content fresh and relevant.
• Utilise AI tools: To make our video creation/editing processes even more efficient.
• Asset Management: Organise and archive video content for easy access and future use.

Who You Are:

• Proven experience (2 years+) in sports videography and video editing, with a portfolio showcasing dynamic short-form vertical sports content, as well as experience in longer-form video podcast content.
• Proficiency in video editing software, especially AI tools that can make our content even better and faster to produce.
• Experience in multiple camera setup, lighting, and sound recording.
• Ability to shoot handheld, capture dynamic action shots, and work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their unique content styles.
• Experience working with athletes, coaches, and other sports professionals is highly desirable.
• Creative mindset with excellent storytelling skills.
• Social and video expert who lives and breathes short-form vertical video content and hooks, with a continuous learning mindset.
• Proven passion for and deep understanding of football, darts, and horse racing, alongside a broad knowledge of other sports.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
