Key Information Position: Health and Social Care Teacher Location: Derby Start Date: Immediate Teaching Subjects: Health and Social Care to KS4 and KS5 Contract: Full-time, Temporary Salary: MPS / UPS About the Role As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and helping students develop key skills and knowledge in the field of Health and Social Care. You will inspire students to pursue their interests and guide them through the intricacies of the curriculum at both GCSE and A-Level. Key Responsibilities Teach Health and Social Care to KS4 and KS5. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and challenging lessons. Provide support to students in understanding key concepts and preparing for exams. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high levels of achievement. Contribute to the continuous development of the department’s curriculum. Experience and Qualifications Degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Health and Social Care to KS4 and KS5. Passion for the subject and a commitment to student success.
