Technical Team Leader (Fire Safety)Location: Bicester / London, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire & surrounding areasTo support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Building and Real Estate Division. SOCOTEC's Fire Engineering and Safety teams provide an award-winning, flexible and forward-thinking approach, as well as a high level of technical capability, providing our clients with cost-effective and practical solutions for the full range of fire safety problems.We're looking for a Technical Team Leader to assist the Technical & Operations Director and support both technical team consultants and the Operations Team.This role involves:Assisting with technical and contractual queries from clients, consultants, and operational team membersSupporting client estate management teams with ongoing contractual requirementsProviding project delivery strategies for new projects in collaboration with the Operations teamCompleting fee proposals within specified timescales and providing technical input to the Operations teamHere at SOCOTEC, we deliver excellence to our customers by recruiting and retaining the very best industry talent. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:Member Grade of the Institution of Fire Engineers (MIFireE) or equivalentDiploma level 4 in fire safety and Certified Fire Risk Assessor qualificationExcellent knowledge of fire safety sector regulations, including Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005Detailed knowledge of British Standards relating to Fire SafetyQualifications in Fire Risk Assessment, fire safety systems and inspectionSOCOTEC is the UK's leading provider of testing, inspection and certification services.
