We're looking for Waking Night Support Workers to join our dedicated residential team, supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Whether you have experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Care Worker, or come from a similar support background, this is your opportunity to play a vital role — keeping young people safe, supported, and settled through the night. About the Waking Night Role As a Waking Night Support Worker, your role is essential to ensuring the children in our care are kept safe, calm, and cared for throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining a safe and nurturing environment overnight Supporting young people who may wake or struggle to settle Managing any incidents or behavioural challenges with a calm, consistent approach Completing night-time domestic tasks and admin as required Monitoring the home and supporting morning handovers Promoting safeguarding and emotional well-being throughout your shift Who We’re Looking For We're open to applications from a range of backgrounds including social care, healthcare, education, and youth support.
