Your Role:

As an English Teacher in this vibrant school, you will have the chance to:

Curriculum Innovation & Delivery

Craft and deliver inspiring English lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love for literature and language.

Create a dynamic curriculum tailored to individual learning needs and aligned with national standards.

Classroom Leadership

Assessment for Success

Continuously monitor student progress with formative and summative assessments.

Provide timely, actionable feedback to help students develop their skills and achieve their goals.

Personalized Learning Support

Differentiate lessons to ensure every student, regardless of their ability, is challenged and supported to succeed.

Offer tailored interventions to support students in their learning journey, fostering a growth mindset.

Parent & Community Engagement

Build strong relationships with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and classroom activities.

Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss achievements and areas for growth.

Ongoing Professional Growth

Stay at the forefront of educational trends by engaging in professional development opportunities.

Contribute to the school’s culture of continuous improvement, sharing ideas and best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher with a degree in Education, English, or a related field. (Master’s degree is a plus)

Experienced in teaching English at the secondary school level (KS3 & KS4).

Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment strategies, and differentiated instruction.

A passion for teaching and a commitment to making a lasting impact on students' educational journeys.

Excellent communication skills, both with students and their families.

Enhanced DBS certificate required.
