An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate to join the team here at the Portland Hospital as an Audiologist to assist in the day-to-day running of the Hearing & Balance Department. The post will involve performing paediatric hearing, balance and electrophysiological testing.

• Hearing assessments for new born to 18 years: Hearing tests, impedance testing and OAEs
• CAPD assessments
• Working alongside ENT consultants
• Assisting Audio-vestibular Physicians in hearing & Balance assessments
• Balance assessments: VNG, calorics and rotary chair
• Electro-physiological testing: ABRs, ASSR, c-VEMPs & o-VEMPs
• Explanation of results, where appropriate

• MSc or BSc in Audiology
• Knowledge of paediatric audiology
• Able to work effectively without direct supervision
