Role Overview Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking a full‑time Progress Coach to facilitate individual learner achievement, respond to individual learner needs and empower learners to take responsibility for their own learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own caseload of students and collaborate across the college to provide consistent, high‑level pastoral and academic support. Responsibilities Facilitate individual learner achievement and enable learners to take responsibility for their own learning. Manage your own caseload of students, providing consistent high‑level pastoral and academic support. Collaborate across the college to ensure consistent support for all learners. Subject to a successful probationary period it will then continue as a permanent, term‑time only post. Competitive salary, occupational pension scheme and employee benefits package. Qualifications Diploma in Education & Training (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one. Educated to A Level standard or equivalent. Hold 5 GCSEs grade A‑C or equivalent, including English and Maths. Clear understanding of student target setting, monitoring and reviewing to ensure achievement. Experience using data to inform interventions. Commitment to safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
