Pay: £26,000 - £30,000 (DOE)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm

As a Solar Panel Installer, you will be required to:

* Accurately install solar PV panels, mounting rails and associated roof fixtures to domestic properties in line with design specifications and industry standards.

* Safely work at height and on various roof types (tiles, slates, metal etc.) using appropriate PPE and fall-arrest systems.

* Prepare roofs and ensure all roofing and weatherproofing works maintain the structural integrity and water tightness of the property.

* Accurately position and secure mounting systems according to load and alignment requirements.

* Work collaboratively with electrical technicians to ensure solar panels and inverters are correctly integrated into the property’s electrical system.

* Represent the company professionally when on-site with customers, explain installation steps if required and answer basic questions.

* Maintain clean and tidy work areas, both during and after installation.

The ideal candidate will be:

* Proven experience in solar installation or a closely related field.

* Knowledge of electrical systems and basic wiring is highly desirable.

* Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

* Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
