The job you will do:
* Lead and oversee daily production operations to ensure on-time delivery and exceed customer expectations.
* Strategically allocate resources and optimise asset utilisation to maximise efficiency and output.
* Manage product quality, production targets, and logistics performance to maintain operational excellence.
* Continuously monitor processes, identifying and implementing corrective actions to drive improvement.
* Stay current with industry best practices and modern production management techniques.
* Promote strong cross-functional collaboration with procurement, distribution, and senior management teams.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a workforce of up to 60 employees.
* Partner with Directors to execute cost-reduction initiatives and implement continuous improvement strategies.
* Proactively address employee concerns and foster a positive, high-performance workplace culture
About you:
* You must have proven production management experience within the food manufacturing industry.
* Proven experience in staff leadership, performance management, and team development.
* In-depth knowledge of quality assurance standards and health & safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
* Exceptional organisational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
* Proactive, hands-on leader with a collaborative, lead-by-example approach and a strong commitment to team success
