Join to apply for the Mechanical Engineer role at Arabelle Solutions. Due to continued growth we are recruiting Mechanical Engineers to join our Naval Engineering team. The role involves the design and development of products such as Turbine Design, Valves and Test Rigs, and supports technical improvement of existing products. Responsibilities Develop and design mechanical components and systems (Valves or Test Rigs) Design for manufacture and assembly, ensuring the quality of design information supplied for manufacture Prepare technical drawings and specifications using CAD software Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Sourcing, and external partners to arrive at decisions Support prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during design, testing, or production Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production Lead and execute design reviews with internal and external stakeholders This role operates with UK Defence customers and requires an SC Level security clearance for UK passport holders. Dual passport holders are accepted if the second country is approved by the vetting authority. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Proficiency in CAD software; CATIA V5 is advantageous but not essential Experience in designing valves, particularly sizing components for custom valves Experience in designing test rigs for rotating equipment is highly advantageous Knowledge of rotating equipment and rotordynamics is desirable Desired Characteristics Strong communication skills across a variety of formats Ability to document, plan and execute programs Job Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full‑time Job function: Design and Engineering Industry: Electric Power Generation Location: Rugby, England, United Kingdom Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Arabelle Solutions by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
