JOB TITLE - Teaching Assistant Prospero Teaching is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a school in Mitcham, CR4. The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location - Mitcham, CR4.Type of work - TA - Assisting the teacher - helping prepare lessons.Position - Teaching AssistantContract or position start date - ASAP STARTDuration / Likely Duration - Until end of the academic year July 2026Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2026Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary ContractFull time/part time - Full timeMinimum rate of pay - Minimum rate 90 per dayHours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 OR 2 experience in the UKUp to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
