Position Summary Take overall responsibility for the logistics associated with the running of education courses and events externally and at the Johnson & Johnson Institute and/or digitally. Coordinate the education activity for Eye Care Professionals, including locums, national conferences and e‑learning through the J&J Vision website. Coordinate the logistics of the overall Success Through Education Programme (STEP®). Main Duties And Responsibilities Support the UK Professional Education and Development Team with event planning, organisation and execution. Manage logistics for attendees and faculty members attending courses physically or digitally. Serve as the main point of contact on the day for faculty and attendees to ensure the smooth running of courses. Work with Johnson & Johnson Vision suppliers (hotels, transport providers, etc.) to ensure delivery of required services as part of education delivery. Ensure all activities are carried out in line with Health Care Compliance (HCC) guidelines and HCC processes for events and engagement of contractors. Source new promotional materials and manage the process from briefing an agency to delivery of the finished article. Support the copy approval process for professional content and materials. Track attendance at events and manage pre‑ and post‑event processes. Manage Continuing Education & Training credits upload to the General Optical Council portal for all non‑Key Account educational activities. Requirements Completed 2 years of degree‑level study. Minimum 2:1 achieved in the first year of study. Business‑related or event‑management degree preferred. May require travel to event venues with occasional overnight stays. High ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem‑solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication. High organisational skills and decision‑making, including accountability and ownership of projects. Self‑motivated with a high level of tenacity. Confidence to manage day‑to‑day events independently.
