Graduate Water Quality Consultant Hastings Full time / permanent role Competitive Salary + Benefits Are you ready to put your degree to use and make a splash in the world of water quality consulting? Well look no further as we may just have your perfect role About the role: Attending and investigating water pollution incidents across Greater London / Thames Valley region. Undertaking field monitoring works including water quality measurements and sampling. Technical report writing in response to water pollution incidents Provision of accurate and timely information to line management. Supporting team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices at all levels Any other duties for which the post holder is qualified and able to carry out. About you: Degree in a Biological or Environmental Sciences discipline. Understanding of water chemistry and the indicative parameters. A full clean UK driving licence. Experience in scientific fieldwork, and an enthusiasm for working outdoors in all weathers. Competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word Analytical and numerical skills with the ability to pay close attention to detail. Able to work independently and as part of a team following precise protocols. Motivated, friendly and confident interacting with clients. Understanding of the role of regulators such as the Environment Agency (desirable). Laboratory analysis in environmental monitoring, and environmental compliance (desirable).
