The Portsmouth Academy is seeking a committed Teacher of English to join our team and make a real difference across our mainstream classrooms onsite provision and off‑site alternative provision. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to teach a broad range of learners in different settings. You will : Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4 Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of students within mainstream classes onsite, alternative provision and a small off‑site setting. Work with colleagues, parents and outside agencies to support student engagement, wellbeing and progress. Contribute to the wider life of the school and our commitment to inclusion. About You A qualified teacher with QTS. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English. Resilient, creative and able to adapt teaching to meet individual needs. Believes in the potential of every student and is committed to removing barriers to learning. A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with young people, colleagues and families.
