Join to apply for the Picker role at Booker. This part‑time position is scheduled Sunday – Thursday 3pm – 11pm. About the role You will help ensure our customers’ needs are exceeded at all times while working in various areas of the store. Whether it’s filling shelves, serving on the tills, ensuring the right amount of stock or picking deliveries, your contributions matter to deliver quick and efficient service. Responsibilities Accurately pick and dispatch goods, using a handheld terminal and reporting differences to the manager. Check quality, shelf life and ensure packaging is robust for delivery. Process deliveries efficiently to meet daily targets. Maintain polite and helpful communication with delivery staff and handle complaints, escalating complex issues when needed. Qualifications Can‑do attitude with comfort working to meet pick rates. Passion for customer service – willing to go the extra mile for customers. Dependable, punctual and presents yourself properly.
