Butler Rose are delighted to be working with a small, friendly and well-respected firm of Chartered Accountants based in the heart of Buckingham, who are now seeking an experienced Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified individual with prior managerial experience to take on a varied role in a supportive and professional environment.Alongside working in a close-knit and highly regarded firm, the business offers a unique flexible benefit: staff may choose to take a 30-minute lunch break instead of 1 hour, which accumulates into 14 additional holiday days off (Fridays or Mondays) per year. These days are subject to business needs and cannot be taken during December or January.This role provides the opportunity to develop your career in practice while working in a welcoming and professional team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAllocate workflow across the teamSupervise, mentor and review trainee performanceReview accounts and tax return work prepared by other staffMeet new clients and manage existing client relationshipsUndertake trainee reviews and provide ongoing development supportPrepare accounts and tax returns for Limited Companies, Sole Traders and PartnershipsPrepare Personal Tax ReturnsAssist with audits and ad hoc managerial duties as requiredSkills & ExperienceACA or ACCA qualifiedPrevious experience in a managerial role within practiceProficiency with Outlook, IRIS, MS Office, Sage and cloud bookkeeping systemsExcellent time management and organisational skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityEffective communication skills and a proactive, professional approachIf you are a qualified ACA/ACCA with the skills and experience outlined above, please apply today via Butler Rose for immediate consideration - contact Victoria Newing on 07384237958 or send your CV to v . newing @ butlerrose . comButler Rose is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
