Heritage Language tutors – opportunities at Heathside Walton on Thames. Are you a tutor, supporting secondary-age children with their development in a foreign language? If so read on At Heathside Walton on Thames Secondary school we are currently supporting our first year 10 students through the beginning of their GCSE studies. A significant proportion of our students have some competence in a language that they would like to pursue a formal qualification in. We are keen to work with tutors to support their development towards a GCSE qualification – through small group tutoring, marking and assessing mock exams and practice assessments, and liaising with our languages team to collaborate on how best to prepare students for examinations. These languages include : Polish Arabic Italian German Mandarin Japanese We are a growing Free School situated on Waterside Drive in Walton on Thames.
