Responsibilities Support one female client who is non-verbal and has a diagnosis of Learning Disabilities, Autism and Tourette's. Work with a patient, encouraging team to help the client lead the best possible life. Maintain client safety while accessing the community, with at least 2 staff present. Assist with daily tasks, ensuring the home environment is safe and supporting medication administration. Plan and participate in activities such as day ops centre, arts and crafts, walks, drives and public transport trips. Provide support across varying shift patterns, including long day shifts and 2:1 support when required. Use positive behavioural support techniques and apply knowledge of autism. Qualifications & Requirements UK driving licence. Understanding of Autism and Positive Behavioural Support. Ability to administer medication and maintain accurate records. Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, kind, respectful, firm but fair. Experience or willingness to work in a care/support role – experience valued but not essential. Working Conditions Shifts may vary, with long day shifts and 2:1 support patterns. Support will be provided at one location with no car driver requirement.
