Key Responsibilities for the Music Teacher Plan and deliver outstanding music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, Create an inspiring and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of music. Support students in achieving their full potential in both practical and theoretical aspects of music. Organise and lead extracurricular music activities, such as ensembles, choirs, and performances. Contribute to the wider school community through musical events and initiatives. What the school are looking for in a Music Teacher A qualified Music Teacher with QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification). Experience teaching music within secondary schools. Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver both practical and theoretical music education. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A passion for music and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
