We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to oversee all operational activities at a production facility in Chester. This senior role is key to ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective production of high-quality dairy products, including milk, butter, and AMF.
The Role
The successful Operations Manager will:
* Lead, mentor, and develop multi-disciplinary teams across dairy & AMF processing, packing, and logistics.
* Oversee daily production and packing, optimising resource allocation, minimising waste, and improving process efficiency.
* Promote a strong health & safety culture and ensure full adherence to HSE regulations, ensuring compliance with HACCP, BRC
* Manage operational budgets, Support strategic planning
* Welcome clear progression to become the next site director.
The Candidate
The successful Operations Manager will have:
* Proven experience as an Operations Manager within food manufacturing — dairy experience essential.
* In-depth knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and food safety regulations.
* Track record of leading and developing large operational teams and experience driving continuous improvement.
* Experience with lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
