You will review the programme of works, liaising with other Supervisors to ensure efficient use of the depot resources, as well as ensuring that sufficient resources of the correct competencies are available to deliver the works. As Depot Supervisor you are also responsible for managing Health, Safety and Welfare of employees.ResponsibilitiesThe Depot Supervisor sits at the heart of everything we do. You will be responsible for:Effectively implementing the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and promoting at all levels, setting standards in Health and Safety behaviourAssist the Operations Manager with the programming and delivery of works, ensuring correct level of resourcesTo follow approved accident and incident reporting process, complete paperwork and provide initial reportsCarry out accident investigation, take statements and collect evidence etcProduce operational documents and drawings for various schemes as required e.g. Method Statements, Risk Assessments, TM Layout drawingsMonitor TM sub-contractor’s timesheets and invoicesSupport the commercial team by maintaining accurate records of operations e.g. Plant and Labour reportsMaintain vehicle recordsEnsure the workforce understand what is required of them, adequate instruction is given to individuals under their control regarding their duties and responsibilitiesMaintain and develop relationships with sub-contractors and clientsEnsure that any issues raised that cause concern are acted upon and resolved quicklyEnsure timely delivery of Toolbox Talks, Safety Alerts & MemosUndertake site inspections & audits to maintain & improve standardsWhat good looks like for a Depot SupervisorMust be M6 qualified (M7 preferable)Knowledge of Chapter 8Must be highly experienced in Low‑Speed Traffic ManagementAble to pass a safety critical worker medicalFull driving licence, with no more than 6 pointsAble to pass a drug and alcohol testPositive “can-do” attitudeAdaptability and FlexibilityMeticulous attention to detailDemonstrate leadership qualities and experience of leading a team in a comparable rolePlanning and scheduling skillsProficient in the use of a PC and the Microsoft Office suite of softwareExcellent communicator and team worker with the confidence and ability to deliver presentations to the workforceSo, if you want to join a winning team and be part of an innovative organisation which is focused on company growth and employee progression, click on the apply button today.Equality and Diversity at ChevronChevron TM believe the skills, capabilities and talents of our people are the key to our success.
